Nylon Serving
Do I have to wear panyhose under a pencil skirt? Please Help!!?
I am going to a fancy theatre tomorrow night that serves dinner, etc…
I am wearing a skirt like this one:

I live in IL so it is about 45 degrees here, but do I HAVE to wear pantyhose? Also, my shoes are maroon, so if I have to wear pantyhose what color should they be?
I hate tan colored nylons, but think black might look funny with maroon shoes.
Would I look funny with bare legs?
My shoes are pumps with a closed-toe.

Pantyhose for sure! Don’t go bare. Try a silky sheer lighter shade of black like off black, barely black, or black mist (Hanes Silk Reflections or Leggs Sheer Energy) so there’s not too much black. Black makes your legs look more shapely. Nude would work, too. For an evening event like this, I would go with a lighter shade of black.
